Barrie Barreto
Originally trained as a photographer/designer, Barrie joined SITC in 1998 as a graphic designer.
A self confessed “media junkie”, Barrie set up SITC’s in–house A/V production unit exploiting the new low cost Mini–DV cameras and Mac based digital video editing to greatly expand the use of digital video at SITC.
Barrie is still involved in designing and programming interfaces – when he is not up to his ears in video – and has a particular interest in creating good useability with clear functional design elements. His weapons of choice are Final Cut Pro, Media Cleaner, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and of course QuickTime Pro.
Barrie is also a keen guitar player, his motto is ... “Nirvana Rule!”
